1958 Pontiac CONvertible

The story behind this Pontiac convertible is every bit as special as the car itself.

Back in 1958, the client’s uncle spent countless hours researching new vehicles before ordering this Pontiac convertible, exactly the way he wanted it. His passion for the car was undeniable. He even kept every receipt documenting what he spent on it over the years. To him, this wasn't just a car; it was something to be cherished.

As a young girl, our client looked forward to summer days when her uncle would take her for ice cream at Dairy Queen in the Pontiac. Those simple drives became treasured memories that would stay with her for a lifetime.

A few years ago, her uncle sadly passed away, but before he did, he left the car to her. Wanting to preserve both the vehicle and the memories attached to it, she and her husband entrusted Jellybean AutoCrafters with a complete body and interior restoration, along with a comprehensive mechanical refresh.

When the restoration was completed, it was just before Christmas. To celebrate the occasion, we placed a large red bow on the freshly restored convertible and hosted a small gathering for the couple. Watching them see the finished car for the first time was a truly special moment, one that reminded us why we love what we do.

Their first drive after taking delivery couldn't have been more fitting. They headed straight to Dairy Queen for ice cream, retracing a journey that had begun decades earlier and reconnecting with memories that had never faded.

The Pontiac turned out beautifully, but what makes this project truly remarkable isn't the craftsmanship, it's the clients passion and the story behind it. It was an honour to be chosen by such a wonderful couple and to play our part in preserving a family legacy, helping bring cherished memories from days gone by back to life.
